Induction
By directly transferring energy to the base of the saucepan, food not only heats up in
record time on an induction cooktop, it also consumes a minimal amount of energy. A
litre of water can be brought to the boil in around two minutes, representing an energy
saving of up to 30 %. This technology also has the advantage that heat is only generated
at the base of the pan, not under the glass surrounding the cooking zone. So virtually
nothing can get burnt, and the cooktop can be wiped clean simply with a damp cloth. A
further advantage is that it minimizes the risk of children burning their hands.
FullFlex
Those that want even more flexibility will go for the FullFlex induction cooktop. This cooktop does away with cooking zones altogether. Instead, up to 48 state-of-the-art inductors
enable it to automatically detect the position and size of the cookware being used. This
means you can have up to six pans at a time anywhere on the cooking surface. Thanks
to the memory function, you can even move them around without losing their settings.
The new FullFlex induction cooktops are easy to control from a full-colour graphic touchscreen that clearly displays all the information needed.
