EcoManagement – keep track of your energy &
water use
This intelligent delayed start function uses the waiting time before the programme
begins to wet the dishes. Once the washing cycle commences, the dirt has been
softened on the dishes so the appliance is able to rinse them at a lower temperature,
reducing energy and detergent use, protecting the longevity of your dishes and doing
your bit for a better world..
This exclusive and patented programme is distinguished by an initial soak
phase at a lower temperature, prior to the main wash. Thanks to this innovation, dishes
and pans with baked on fats and proteins (like cheese) come out spotlessly clean,
without pre soaking in the sink.
Steam is produced at the end of the drying programme. This condenses on the
dishes in the form of distilled water, removing any remaining residues. The result is
clearly visible on wine glasses in particular: sparkling clean glass all round instead of
dried-on water stains around the rim. The Steam Finish also improves the drying quality
on your dishes and is particularly beneficial when washing plastics.
The EcoManagement function provides information about how much water and
energy the appliance uses. Sensors and functions support efficient and economical
cleaning – for example, the turbidity sensor ensures that fresh water is not used
unnecessarily. The rinsing agent function automatically adjusts the quantity of rinsing
aid according to the water hardness and the load which cuts down on the amount
required. The door opener automatically opens the door at the end of the rinsing
cycle, reducing the drying phase and saving energy.
