Grease filter
A noise insulation system reduces motor noise and vibrations (max. 63
dB(A)). Even on the maximum setting, holding a conversation in the kitchen at
normal volume is no problem.
The frame is made of stainless steel with a high-grade finish. The interior of the
hood has no sharp edges or screws and can be quickly wiped clean with
a damp cloth. The grease filters on some models are attached by magnetic
fixings (ComfortFix) and can be safely removed for cleaning then simply reinserted again. Most hoods have a saturation indicator that is activated as soon
as the grease filter needs to be cleaned. The filters are dishwasher-safe.

FlexLED lighting
Attached by magnetic fixings, the grease filters can be safely removed for
cleaning before reinsertion. A fixture holds the filter in place during removal
so it cannot fall down and damage the cooktop.
The whole working area is evenly illuminated. The LED lights require very little
electricity and, depending on the model, their colour temperature may be
matched to the surrounding kitchen lighting.
Effective longlife activated charcoal filter
Cooking smells are removed using different types of activated charcoal filters. The
longlife-plus activated charcoal filter is ideal for combating intensive odours as it
effectively reduces over 80 % of smells. It is very easy to use, can be regenerated
in the oven and lasts around three years.
Activated charcoal filter
The activated charcoal filters can be easily removed and on some models
they can be regenerated. For example, the most efficient longlife-plus activated
charcoal filter can be regenerated by means of thermal regeneration in the
oven every three to six months. The longlife activated charcoal filter can be
cleaned in the dishwasher and then dried in the oven.
Drip tray
No need to worry if anything boils over or liquids are spilled. The cooktop
hood and the Fusion cooktop with integral hood have a drip tray which can
hold up to 0.5 litres. It can simply be lifted out of its holder together with the
grease filter and cleaned in the dishwasher.
